Showcasing Advanced Manufacturing Technologies at Manufacturing in America

The Industry 4.0 Accelerator, a program run by Lean Rocket Lab in Jackson, MI, and the Centrepolis Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI, is dedicated to scouting the globe for the best Industry 4.0 technologies and connecting them with manufacturers in the Midwest and Michigan. We had the privilege of participating in the Manufacturing in America event on September 25th, bringing some of the most exciting startups in the advanced manufacturing space to Ford Field.

Demonstrating the Future of Manufacturing

At the event, four of our portfolio companies—Detect-It, Andonix, Wheel.me, and Peer Robotics—were featured in the Industry 4.0 Accelerator booth. These innovative startups demonstrated state-of-the-art technologies, including AI-powered safety solutions, smart factory tools, and autonomous robotic systems, providing a glimpse into the future of manufacturing.

In addition to exhibiting their products, the startups also participated in a sponsored breakout session, The Practical Implementation of i4.0 Technologies, where they had the chance to pitch their solutions to a room filled with manufacturers, industry leaders, and potential partners. The session showcased how these technologies are being used to solve real-world manufacturing challenges and opened the door for valuable conversations and connections.
